Apple Berry Protein Crisp

Ingredients

  • 2 large apples (1 fuji, 1 granny smith)
  • 1 cup mixed raspberries and blackberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 2 tbsp PEScience Apple Cinnamon Protein4Oats

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F and prepare a casserole dish with non-stick spray. 

  • Core and thinly slice the apples (you can peel them if desired) and add them to a mixing bowl with the berries, maple syrup, lemon juice, cinnamon, salt and protein. Toss until everything is evenly coated and then place them into the bottom of the dish. 

  • Place all the topping ingredients into a mixing bowl and use your hands to combine until the mixture resembles wet sand. Sprinkle the crumble over the fruit.

  • Bake for 40-50 minutes and apple are tender and crisp is golden. Enjoy!
