Hair, skin, & nails done right.

Not a watered-down multivitamin.

Hair, skin, and nails (HSN) products have been around for decades, but all along these products have been formulated with zero purpose. The idea behind every other HSN product is they jam it full of random amounts of vitamins and minerals because your hair, skin, and nails are made up of these vitamins and minerals.

Problem is, these will only improve your hair, skin, or nails if you are deficient in one of the vitamins or minerals. Most of the population is not. Plus, if you are already taking a multivitamin then you absolutely don’t need anything in typical HSN products.

The only typical vitamin that has shown to be beneficial for larger populations is biotin, which we use at a dose in Renuvia that can be beneficial by itself, but also can still be combined with TruMulti. A 2016 study showed that 38% of women complaining of hair loss also tested as being biotin deficient, which is quite significant, and why we included in our formula. Back in 1990 a small study was performed showing those supplementing with biotin had significant (25% increase) in nail thickness.

CERAMOSIDES™ & Hyaluronic Acid

You may recognize Hyaluronic Acid (HA) and ceramosides/ceramides from many skincare products. They are very legitimate ingredients if used properly, both topically and orally. The tricky thing is though, not ingredients are created equal.

For example, there is what is known as high molecular weight HA and low molecular weight HA. Some are better for oral bioavailability; some are better for topical absorption. Unfortunately, the HA used for topicals is much cheaper due to its mass production, so many of the oral supplements contain this inferior form.

We use the patented, vegan, oral form of HA at the clinically researched dose.  This specific form of HA we use has been shown in humans to improve dry skin and reduce wrinkles when consumed orally.

Similar to HA, we use a specific form of ceramosides that are beneficial via oral administration. It has been shown to increase moisture in the skin and decrease wrinkles in 2 clinical trials. Both of these ingredients could be sold as standalone products themselves, but we included it here so we truly had an all-inclusive, powerful, and effective HSN product.

Natural Silicon

Similar to collagen, silica is something we all produce naturally. Starting around the age of 25 however, we all start producing a little less each year. Silica is a mineral most HSN products overlook or don’t know to include. It also compliments our collagen peptides.

Speaking of collagen, you may see some HSN products contain an embarrassing amount of collagen in the 10-100mg range so they can include it on the label. You need at least 5,000mg to have any researched benefit, and more like 10,000 for a significant benefit.

In a 2014 update on the nutritional importance of silica in the diet, researchers now recommend 25mg/day. In the past the majority of the population had no problem reaching this daily dose as many grains are high in silica. With many people going grain-free, or at least much lower grain consumption, getting 25mg/day may become difficult.
